SCTS Intro Camps

StageCraft Theatre School is so excited to open our new Intro Camps to Ottawa in partnership with Dovercourt Recreation.
These new camps will bring all the musical and creative learning that you receive from our SCTS full day camps but with the addition of Dovercourt’s expertise in fun.
In these camps students will learn and perform scenes, songs and sketches from musicals in the morning and take part in all Dovercourt has to offer in the afternoon with activities such as swimming and organized sports.

What to Expect at an SCTS Intro Camp…
An amazing one week high energy musical theatre camp, working on a professional script with original choreography by SCTS.
This show is packed with great characters a wonderful script, with roles for everyone. You will not only have a huge amount of fun but you will learn lots of new skills in the performing arts. As well as learning how to work creatively with others and solo, all while making new friends.
We will take you on a journey to find your inner performer and bring out the star in you. Working towards a specially adapted theatre extravaganza, live on stage, to share with Family & Friends at the completion of camp.
Our Professional teaching staff will join the students in the morning for rehearsal times and take the students through the material in all three mediums of dance, singing and drama.
In the afternoon our SCTS teaching staff will pass the students into the capable hands of the Dovercourt Recreation staff who will take them for a variety of activities including swimming, games and organized sport.
These intro camps are the perfect starter courses for students who are not familiar with musical theatre but would like to give it a try, or our students who would prefer a milder introduction to musical theatre as opposed to a full day of rehearsals.
