Star Kids Camps – Summer 2025
10 Day Camps
Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
With many fun supporting roles allowing students to play objects inside the castle, this "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costume and set opportunities.

Drop off starts at 8.45am and camp ends at 4pm.
It is important that our students feel comfortable and at ease with their surroundings, therefore all students are divided into their respective age groups, although all students are encouraged to mix during outside games and mealtimes (with protocols in place). There will be a daily outside activity (weather permitting) movies and crafts, but most of the day will be spent immersed in theatre.

On the Final Day of Camp
5 Day Camps
A chance to experience the fast paced life of a Broadway performer. Come with us as we discover songs and scenes from Disney, Broadway and favourite TV shows all based on the theme “Zero to Hero”.
In small groups we will delve into these loved shows through scene work, drama & adventure, all with original choreography.
The camp will be lead by industry professionals and SCTS staff. Come join the fun as we work towards a specially adapted theatre showcase, performed live on stage with you family and friends at the completion of camp.
