Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to Stagecraft Children's Theatre School ("SCTS") programmes

    given to students, applied for and consented to by the parent or guardian (referred to hereafter as the

    "student").

    2. Any personal data collected on this site will be processed by SCTS solely for the purposes of

    administration and research. SCTS will not disclose this information to third parties.

    3. SCTS may occasionally take photographs and film footage of students during performances or

    classes for use in SCTS marketing and publicity material only. If you do not wish for your child to be

    photographed or filmed, please inform SCTS in writing.

    4. Withdrawal / Refund Policy

    1. I understand that all fees are non-refundable.

    2. Illness or Injury

    Any student attending an SCTS semester or camp programme who is required to withdraw due

    to injury or serious illness must provide a valid doctor's note.

    a) If written notice and a doctor's note are received more than one (1) month before the start of a

    camp, or more than two (2) weeks before the start of weekly classes, a full refund, less the

    applicable $100 administration fee, will be issued.

    b) If written notice and a doctor's note are received within one (1) month of the start of a camp,

    or within two (2) weeks of the start of weekly classes, families may choose either:

    • A 50% refund of the remaining fees, less the applicable $100 administration fee; or

    • A 100% credit of the remaining fees, less the applicable $100 administration fee, to be used

    towards any future SCTS programme.

    Credits are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and must be used within the validity period

    specified by SCTS.

    3. Should Provincial, Federal or Local Government regulations, public health orders, force

    majeure, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of SCTS require classes or camps to

    cease operating in person, SCTS reserves the right to deliver programmes online or from an

    alternative venue. No refunds or credits will be issued in these circumstances.

    4. Withdrawals for reasons other than those stated above will not be eligible for a refund or

    credit.

    5. SCTS reserves the right to make changes to the class/camp dates, schedule, venue and teaching

    staff.

    6. SCTS reserves the right to exclude students from lessons at its discretion.

    7. Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform SCTS of any existing injuries or

    medical conditions.

    8. SCTS accepts no liability for any loss of or damage to personal belongings.

    9. The liability of SCTS and that of its staff is limited to class time only and then only to gross

    negligence.

    11. An application will only be deemed to have been accepted if accompanied by payment of the

    required fees. Until full receipt of payment is confirmed, the student's enrolment in any SCTS

    programme is not guaranteed.
