2010 Performance Info
In
the event of sickness, please call 604-762-2491 to inform us if
your child will be missing class.
Note: If a student is absent for more than 3 classes in a semester,
it is at the discretion of the Artistic Director whether the student
is allowed to participate in the final performance.
Rehearsal
and Show Details
This term's
performance will be in support of Children's
Wish Foundation of Canada.
Full
costume dress rehearsals will be held at your StageCraft School
venue
on the last class date of the semester:
North Vancouver Main School -- Saturday June 5
West
Vancouver Main School -- Saturday June 5

Tickets:
Price per ticket is $15.00 ($13.00 plus $2.00 Kay Meek Theatre admin
charge). Only cash or cheque accepted.
Tickets
will be brought to your StageCraft School location on one date only:
Saturday, May 29 for Main School
There is
no limit on tickets this semester. The payment must be received before
any tickets will be handed out.
If you
wish to re-register for the Fall 2010 semester, we will need a post-dated
full payment cheque dated Sept. 1, 2010. This must be handed
in when purchasing tickets to ensure priority registration. After
this date we cannot assure you a place.
Fall 2010
dates, show information, and fees will be on the school website for
viewing soon.
Parking:
For parking, please follow signs at 15th & Inglewood. Parking is
located behind the theatre. This is also the way to the stage door,
where all students need to arrive for the performance. Parking is free
in this location. Please do not park in front of the theatre on Mathers
Avenue.
Photography
and Videos:
There will be no official DVD of this performance. Parents may take
videos, but no flash photography or tripods will be allowed in the theatre.
Notes:
- Please
inform us if your child will not be at the performance (604-762-2491).
- Students
may not bring any refreshments other than water.
- Students
must arrive in full costume to both the rehearsal and the performance.
- All
students are required to wear their black jazz shoes.
- StageCraft
uniforms are not required.
- Please
no toys, games, or books to be brought with the students.
- Please
make sure the all items brought to the theatre are clearly named and
labeled. The school and the theatre are not responsible for lost items,
so it is best if all coats, etc. are taken by parents.
- Parents
are allowed to videotape the performance. No flash photography, tripods,
or cell phones allowed in the theatre.
Allowed
age ranges:
In respect for the performers, audience members, and due to age relevance
of the performance material, the following age range is in effect: No
children under 4 years old are allowed to attend the performance.
Performance
Date - Drop Off and Pick Up Notes
Please
note that parents are not allowed backstage at any time.
Please
be prepared that the performance may overrun its scheduled time.
The performance will run approx. 2 hour 15 min.
There will be an intermission at which concessions will be available.
Act 1 students
are free to leave the theatre after the intermission if they do not
wish to stay for the older class's performances.
The stage door is located at the bottom of the outside staircase.

Rehearsals are MANDATORY, no exceptions. **

Drop-off:
All students are to be dropped off at the stage door at the time
listed below for their Act.
Act
3 - 1:30 pm
Act 2 - 1:35 pm
Act 1 - 1:40 pm
Door
to the theatre will open at 1:45 pm. Performance will start
at 2:00 pm.
Collection:
Act 1 students are free to leave the theatre after the intermission
if they do not wish to stay for the older class's performances.
They must be collected from the stage door during intermission.
Act
2 and Act 3 students are to be collected from the stage door
after the conclusion of the performance.
